luck isn't merely a game of time

it persists within us

enclosed in our fist

It wobbles through the veins

and imprints through the lines of our palm

Interesting view on luck! Never heard it explained in such a way, but I really like it. It's cool how you used "the lines of our palm" because palm reading tells you how long you're going to live, how healthy you are, etc. It makes perfect sense that luck would be there!!
