Antagonist of the Humankind

Antagonist of the Humankind

A Poem by Tazeen Ahmed
"

read on for the revelation

"

A step pledged against humanity

out of ignorance and notoriety

a treachery entitled to devastation

devoid of the consent of inner satisfaction

aims set to blotch blood and cause pain filled with arrogance

there arises hatred, not a pinch of benevolence

hearts,as tough as rocks

a cry of an orphan, a sigh of a widow

aren't worth melting these blocks

they worship and honor the war of bloodshed

they bow against ammunition, hot -headed

barbaric and inhumane treatment

they intend to demolish the advent

living wild, death awaits every  instance

a similar fate shall they face

when Lord will force queries of their sins unpunished

on the day of resurrection, shall they be punished

they won't be forgiven for the blasphemy

instead be granted a hell of fire fiercely blazing with vitality

Sadly, the zeal of good men is transformed into evil acts by those in power in high places who use Freedom, God, & Country to inspire men to heinous acts of bloodshed, as men quickly forget who they were in the beginning, led by men naturally evil to commit the very evil they claim to despise ...

Though not a fan of Organized Religion, I am a fan of the Human Race, believing that there is ONLY ONE race of men (men, women, children) upon this Earth, regardless of Religion, Language, Complexion, or Nationality ... As my late cousin said so wel, "We are leaves of one tree, flowers of one garden ..."

Your wisdom, young lady, is well beyond your years upon this Earth ... May your compassionate mind and heart continue to grow ever towards that which is good ...

Thank you so much for your kind words!! :::)))
This work is definitely one that is written from the heart. I loved how you openly expressed your rage against the constant onslaught that these beasts rage against humanity. There was fire in your words, and it set the fire within us ablaze as well. I feel this poem has the potential for a spoken-word poem. Do see if you can adapt it for the format, you could well be the next Malala Yousafzai.

I have two suggestions.
Let the description be 'Read on for the revelation'
7th line - let it be as 'hearts, as tough as rocks.'

Great work

Wow... The wordplay, and syllable count are on point. Simple, yet profound...
*when Lord will force queries of their sins unpunished
on the day of resurrection, shall they be punished*

And

*they worship and honor the war of bloodshed
they bow against ammunition, hot -headed*

Really good stuff

Of course. You are most welcome.
Fire in the belly, grace in the head for a child so young you write like a sage once said.

I suppose the very religious believe justice will happen in the next world. Not sure I am of that belief, but your words are powerfully written. Lydi**

Thank you!:)
It's a matter of peace...
Now, this is one really good write, Tazeen !
Actually, I too wrote something on killers of humanity (not on writers cafe)...so i can very well relate to this feeling. How innocent ones face the wrath and fury of few unkind and inhuman folks resulting in bloodshed ! You voiced out your dissatisfaction against those people and ended this write on a hopeful note !
Lets pray for the best because justice will surely be prevailed !
well done !

This is reflective indeed! And a wish to see justice being brought! But that time is yet to come... This is really really good work! ☺
