A PRISONER FOR LIFE...A Poem by Tazeen AhmedA story of a prisoner...a convict , I was caught my guilt was brimming with bloody
spots chained like a wild beast, I was accompanied and ultimately
ceased to an eccentric clandestine where I had to reside as destined my sinful hands were cuffed
and bound they lashed me like a hound I fed on filth and was covered
with vermin I slept on boards shivering in cold , I wildly
roared they made me what I am they were the jailers ,the dictators and we ? we were numbers it was a hell holy to the
earth humanity had no place beneath
that girth they hunted me , they haunted my heart I just wanted to leave the
universe and starve oh lord ! my soul
was taken away and a devil , they made me
day by day I couldn't have witnessed
that day if I was guided rather than being
led astray © 2016 Tazeen AhmedReviews
