Love of my Life
I go to sleep every night, not just
as myself but as your wife.
Knowing that I'm waking up next to you,
telling myself there's nothing else I'd rather do.
Each kiss filled with passion , yet every argument tragic
From day 1 , your heart I've tried to grasp it,
I tried all my tries now I'm asking you to let me have it
I know that I deserve it, and I'll give my last
breath on earth to serve it
Everything I ever wanted, Everything I ever wished for
I wouldn't trade you for the world
you give me everything I need and more
Love your arms around me , protect me from everything
help ground me
Give me balance and I need it , because
earning your love was a challenge
You gave in, you let go and know there's nothing else to know
You're the man of my dreams and
the only guy I want on my team
You are the Love of my Life
