Silence Reached Me

about me from one of my many dark moments.

Silence.
its calm, peaceful, and sometimes sad.
And as the silence sweeps softly across my face.
I start to cry.
I cry soundless cries of pain.
As I try to speak but nothing comes out.
Its softness covering and eventually drowning me.
Silence.
It takes over my body leaving me lifeless in the arms of someone who cares.
And as I shutter one last time.
I take my very last breath.
And then.
.......
Nothing.
The silence that has crossed over me.
It was the signal of Death.
The signal of the my very last glimpse at what I used to dread being in.
But As I take my last breath.
I wish I could be in it one more time.
I realize....
I do not really want to die

Author's Note

I have come close to death alot of times. and during each one i wonder is this worth it. and then I ask god for a second chance. I am afraid my next time will be my last......
