monster

am i monster....... or something else!

I am alone.

Darkness seems to be my only friend.

The wind in the trees they whisper my name.

as I lay in the cold icy snow.

I stare into the nights sky.

As I lay on my back,

singing the lonely song that fills my heart.

my heart has been ripped from my chest.

and i lay there the crisp white snow now painted black with my blood.

as my cold body starts to shiver

a hand reaches up and pulls me under.

i am now.....

part of the darkness.

watch and you'll see me 

listen and you'll hear me 

reach and you'll feel me

but don't get to close.

or you'll kill me.

Sinister feeling to it, especially love the last line, the white snow is in contrast to the night, abyss like darkness and all making the poem even more dark and lonely... well penned ;)
