Every wake I ache
From the dream filled with misery
The euphoria of her
Made me believe that fantasy
I expected more
Now I deplore
The smile that made me stay
Now curses me everyday
The boy filled with tricks
Stole the heart I fixed
Still, I love her
But she's with a different lover
Yet, I wanna reminisce it
Replaying those moments
And just keep reliving it
Keeping the tragic truth at bay
Just to hold you everyday
I know it's too much to ask
But for that I would give it my last
The scent of you still stuck in the air
While I'm there just laying bear
Nursing an empty bottle of beer
Hoping you'll come back
And kiss me there
