Chapter 25: Arguement

After the scene with the female grizzly Sirius and Melina were walking silently. Melina the usual charismatic type had nothing to say.She traveled with her tail tucked in and her ears pinned down to her head.Sirius nostrils were flaring up as he trotted faster then Melina. She glanced at him,but he didn't say anything back to her.She saw bruises covering his body down to up.Did i do all that? She thought,sighing.

Sirius finally looked back at her,his eyes again the igniting orange.''Did you have any idea what could've happen to you!''He yelled,practically in a statement then a question. Melina was caught off guard from the out burst.

''What do you mean?''She asked softly. 

''You almost died at that moment!''He bared his teeth.

''I-i...''She trailed off,dropping her head in shame.

''What happened back there?!''

''A cub wanted to play-''

''A cub? No wonder!''Sirius shook his head.He stopped.''Do you have any idea what a mother would do to you if you were caught doing anything with their cub!?''

''No.''

''They would do to you what she done to me!''Melina over looked all the bruises Sirius held on his body.Not only they were bad,but they were bleeding.''I'm s-s-sorry.''She stuttered.

Sirius grunted and continued walking with Melina behind him.She stood there.Why can't this guy take an apology! ''Well then...i'm not sorry!''She yelled at him.Sirius stopped,but didn't stare back as her as his ears twitched.She continued.''If you can't take an apology,then i'm not sorry! I didn't even want to come on this journey,i was force to! FORCE to! I can turn back and go home if you want!''She was about to turn around when she heard Sirius bark.

''Like you know your way back!''

''You think i don't?''She got nose to nose with him even though she was smaller then him.''Even if i do get lost a couple times,i bet i'll find my way back!''

''You would die if i weren't here with you at this very moment!''He growled.

''Then i might as well die!''She turned on him about head back.Sirius was frustrated at the she-wolf.He blocked her way.

''You're coming with me whether you like it or not.''

''Oh,and you're going to make me?''She challenged.

''If i have to,then i will.''He said eyeing her level.She turned away defeated.

They continued walking on their path,but said nothing.Sirius glanced at Melina every now and then,but she never returned the glance back.They stopped at a pond to get a drink and relaxed then continued their way to Titantion's woods.They were going to make it there by when the sun rise again.

They both found a clean cave and laid down to sleep.Sirius stared at Melina,who turned away from his stare,burying her head in her paws.Sirius got up and laid beside her,their pelts brushing as always.

''Are you still mad at me?''He asked.

''Why would i? Yelling at me like i'm some little pup! No i'm not still mad at you!''She said sarcastically,staring into his apple-green eyes.

''No,''Sirius started.''Look Melina,i'm sorry for the way i treated you,i'm was so worried about your health.I thought you knew better then to play with a cub like that.''

''Sirius,i'm sorry for hurting you.I'm sorry for not helping you.''Melina stared at her paws.She felt Sirius lick her on her cheek.A small smile came on her face.

''You are forgiven.''Sirius said.

Melina perked her ears at his words,but said nothing as she showed all her happiness in wetting his face with her tongue.
