Chapter 17: BlueBird

It's been a moon since his exile.

Sirius was lying down on his stomach,staring bluntly at the scrawny red she-wolf in front of him. He knew what she wanted,but he wasn't interested in her and so he wasn't going to give her any pleasure from it. The red she-wolf kept nuzzling him affectionately and rolling over occasionally to give him a hint. He still stared at her expressionless as if trying to say 'i'm not interested.' She stopped her act.''What are you waiting for?''Her voice caught him off-guard. 

What am i waiting for? How can i mate with a she-wolf i barely knew within twenty-four hours? I don't even know your name! ''What you mean what i'm waiting for?'' Sirius decided,playing along with this she-wolf.

She nuzzled him again,but he had no pleasure in it.She stopped.''What is your problem?''

''Nothing's wrong with me.''Sirius answered.Just a she-wolf bothering me! Can't she see i'm not interested?

''Then why are you not interested?''She asked,narrowing her eyes. 

''Not interested in what?''

''Mating me! Can't you see i'm in estrus?''She replied. Sirius nearly groaned at the thought.''Why don't you want to mate me?''She asked.

''Why would i mate with you?''He scoffed.''I don't even know you!''

''You don't have to know me.You fit all my expectations that's needed.You're cute,strong,and brave everything i need.''She responded.''I think we belong together!''

As if ever! Sirius shook his head,looking away the red she-wolf.''No thank you.''

''You're not interested?''She asked rather surprised.

What you thought?I was interested? ''No.''He said.

The red she-wolf rolled over on her stomach and got up.''Well,if you are interested give me a howl.''She winked and trotted off.Sirius growled at her.

He got up from his spot and went to a nearby pond from last night's rain and took a lick at it.The water wasn't as tasty as the Evermost clear,sparkly water,but this water did fulfilled his thirst.

He laid back down from where he was before,curling up to sleep.He didn't want to sleep,but that was the only thing to do when you're on the outskirts of the Evermost! Also known as EverDeens' landing. Legend says that a wolf named EverDeens was so evil he made up these lands for those who were banished from their home because he was banished for being the runt in a litter. Legend also says that EverDeens killed both his mother and father and so this land was barren,like him therefore the lands took his name.

Sirius thought a lot about what's happening back at his main home. He wanted to know if Melina was okay. He smile just thinking about her. Many she-wolves in EverDeens landing caught his eyes and some eyes he caught,but none of these she-wolves were compared to Melina. None of these She-wolves caught his heart.

He was beginning to flutter his eyes and go to sleep until he saw a blue hue flying above him.Could it be?It can't be! ''Blueanne!''He called.The sight was so far,but he knew it had to be her.Her feathers is what gave it away.

The blue bird flew down and landed in front of him.''Sirius?''She hopped forward.''Is it really you?''

He nodded,the tears coming down his face.''What are you doing here Blueanne?''He asked,getting up.

Blueanne hopped on his shoulder.''Melina and I was going to get some burnt wood from Geiser landing-''

''Where is Melina?You're going now?Is She with you-''Sirius was bombarding her with questions until she finally hushed him up.

''Melina is right behind me-''Sirius didn't let her finish as he jumped up and ran from the Blue bird.

''Sirius she's not that way!''Blueanne followed after him.
