Chapter 8:The new leader

''What do you mean!?''In one quick second he had him pinned to the ground.He snarled in his face,sinking his claws into the other wolf's shoulder.The other wolf cried and whimpered.

''Please have mercy on me,''He whimper.''It is only true.''

''Mercy? Mercy! I shall never give mercy to you! Anyone!''He shouted.He snarled at the wolf again and got off of him facing the crowd of more then a hundred wolves around him.He jumped up on a near by rock,facing the crowd still.''Everyone as you are wondering,i am...''

Sirius and Melina made their way through the crowd of the wolves.They made it to the front row.''What is all this about?''Sirius asked no one in particular.

Melina shrugged.''Listen.We'll find out.''

The large black,grey-ish wolf smile down at the listening ears of the crowd.''Everyone as you are wondering,i am Arovi.''He smile down at them.The wolves below him were whispering amongst themselves.He suddenly smirk.''But to you,i am known as your new leader! Of all of you!Every each and one of you!''The wolves stopped the whispering and stared at him with all color eyes.

''What!''Melina whispered.''Y-you can't do that!''Sirius hushed her.He didn't want her to get in trouble.

''Is it impossible?''Arovi licked his claws.''I think not!''His eyes were gleaming.''At least not if your all powerful.''With one flick of his tail a couple wolves were dead.Sirius stared in astonishment.''Iyuki Meurik.''He whispered.Arovi lowered his tail all the wolves that were dead instantly became alive.

''How was star heaven?''The new leader joked at the wolves who were dead.His voice rose.''Now if you don't listen to me that's going to be your punishment or...your families.''He smile down at the cowering wolves.''Now for my first order of duty,i want a mate! Now all the females on the right side and the males on the left!''

Sirius turned to Melina.''Hide!''He growled.

''But i wanna-''Melina was cut off again by Sirius' growling.

''Hide! I say!''He snarled.He rubbed his body around her to get his scent onto her's.She nodded and jumped into a nearby bush.Sirius was standing over it,protecting her as he saw all the females and males divided.Melina was still with him,unbeknownst to them.

The leader walked down the aisle of the females,checking them all out.He looked from their eyes to their formed paws.He walked right past them,if rejecting them.He checked out a pale brown wolf with light brown eyes.He smile upon her and licked her cheek.She cowered in fear.

''That's Ayana!''Melina whispered.Sirius shut her.

''Quiet back there!''He whispered back.

''I wanna see what's going on!''Melina whined.

''Stop crying so much.''I'm only protecting you.

Arovi and Ayana stepped up to the crowd.She had her ears pinned.A wolf similar to Ayana stepped up.He was dark brown and a male.

''Sir!''He exclaimed.''That's my daughter!''

''And?''Arovi threw back.

''I don't want you to have her.''The dark brown wolf said.Ayana pinned her ears down.

''Oh boy!''Melina groaned.

''Stop!''Sirius hushed her.

Arovi advanced on him,snarling.''I don't care if she was your mom,mate,or sister! I want a mate! And apparently i wanted her!''This dark brown wolf wasn't stepping down.He wasn't even in the submissive posture!

''I won't have you take her from me.''He growled.''Come on,Ayana! We're going home!''

''Daddy!''Ayana yelled,surprised.Arovi  pinned him down in a second,growling.

''She's mine!''He snarled.He heard crunching noises come from the dark brown wolf.''If you ever take her away from me,it's going to be your own funeral...or hers.''He got up from the gagging and panting wolf.He licked Ayana's cheek.He motioned her to follow him,and so,she did with her head bowed in shame.When they left the room was filled with chatter.A couple wolves helped up the dark brown wolf.

''You can come out now.''Sirius told Melina.She jumped out next to him.

'Finally!Fresh air!''She exclaimed.Sirius smile at her.

''Melina,this is serious!''

''What?The new leader,thing?''She asked.

''Yeah.That wolf have the powers that us,wolves don't possess.We have to let Belinda know what had happened!''Sirius said.''This wolf could mean danger and danger could mean hurt and hurt could mean death!''

''But why did he choose the Evermost?Why not the other woods or forest?''

''There's something special here at the Evermost.''Sirius said walking away. Melina followed him.''Come on we have to let Belinda know at once.''
