Chapter 5: Running with the stars

Sirius made it back to Belinda's den where he slept on some occasions. He made it back from baby-sitting Catrina the small cub of Carro and Almira. She was a small thing.Looked like her mother and acts like her father. He truly never seen it before! What a special family! His mind drifted off to Melina.He wondered about the white and golden wolf from time to time. He wondered if she was having fun with her 'date' She sounded grumpy about it.Belinda wasn't in the cave.She went off hours ago to see her daughter.He was alone in the cave.

Suddenly he heard a flutter of wings come through the opening.A blue bird perched on a branch inside.

''Sirius?Is that you?''Blueanne asked.

''Yeah.''Sirius replied. He knew through the light no one would be able to see him in the darkness.His coat was not helping the problem at all.

''What are you doing here?''She piped up again.

''Belinda said i can sleep here tonight.''Sirius yawned.

''Big day tomorrow?''

''Just the same.Nothing special.''Sirius responded.''I just got done seeing Carro and Almira.''

''Oh really!How are they?''Blueanne awed.''And the little one too!''

Sirius chuckled.''Just got done babysitting the baby.Catrina is a precious little thing! A miracle too! Carro and Almira have been blessed beautifully.''

''I want to go see them.I haven't seen them for a long time.''Blueanne groaned.''If i have time tomorrow i'll go see them!''She fluttered her wings again and settled down.Sirius smile up at her even though he couldn't really see her.He laid his head down and tried to sleep.

Sirius it's so nice to hear from you again!

Adira!

I want you to meet someone.

Adira!Adira!Where did you go!Don't leave me!

Sirius felt like he was floating.He opened his eyes to see that he was floating in the air with the stars.He also saw Adira the golden wolf.She was still that same golden wolf the only difference was stars clinging to her, marking that she was dead.Sirius looked at his own pelt to see the clinging stars.Was he dead?

Sirius,there's someone i would like for you to meet...Eirian come meet your youngest son!

Sirius stared in astonishment as a all silver wolf approached him.She had a gentle smile on her face and very beautiful.The tears was rolling down her face.

Mom?He brought his self to say. Adira nodded at him a few stars falling off her coat.Mom!

Oh my son,you grown so tall my young boy! Eirian nuzzled him.

Haven't he?Adira walked up to the two wolves.I'm so proud of you Sirius.

A-am i dead? He asked.

For now...Eirian trailed off. You belong up here with us.Adira and I! You'll have fun!

Sirius smile softly at the silver wolf.He looked down and saw Melina and Belinda sniffing flowers below.He saw Carro nuzzling and cuddling his daughter,goodnight.He saw Blueanne sleeping with a smile plastered on her face.What about them?Will they miss me?

Don't you want to be up here-Eirian was interrupted by Adira's growling.

Eirian,you know that was not the plan! Adira growled.We were sent to tell you some news.

Tell me some news?Sirius wondered.What is it about?

Soon there's going to be a new enemy,looking for leadership.You're the only one that can stop him!Adira explained. Eirian licked her paw,staring down at the gold and white wolf below them with her grandmother sniffing and picking flowers.Sirius followed her gaze as his eyes landed softly on Melina.

Do you fancy her?His mother asked with a sly smile.

Eirian!Adira rolled her eyes.Stop asking all this ranvu stuff! We were sent to tell him one simple thing!

But i-Sirius mouth quivered.

No more questions from you,young,you have to go now!Adira narrowed her starry eyes.Sirius lowered his tail in submission,pinning his ears down.

A sparkly sensation came into his soul as everything went black again.He felt that he was no where.When he opened his eyes he was back inside Belinda's cave...alive. He breathed.

''Am i dead?''He asked.He didn't believe the sight in front of him.''Hmmm....''He took a nip at his shoulder,drawing his own blood out.He did not want to wake up Blueanne so he held his yelp in and cried tears instead.''I guess i'm alive.''He sighed.
