Chapter 3: Melina comforts Sirius

      Sirius and Melina shot their heads up as they heard paws pounding inside the cave. Belinda and Blueanne made it back carrying a few objects.Curious,Melina rose and followed after them. Sirius laid there for a minute thinking about what just happened.I need to do something with my life! Melina's got a date with some 'handsome' wolf and I got nothing! Hmmm...I'm going to wait. I'm not even looking forward to being in a relationship right now,but don't worry Adira I'm going to fulfill your dream...Sirius thoughts swirled around in his head like a tornado.He didn't know what to do next so he did the first thing that came to mind.He followed after the three females.

      ''...It's not working yet,but when it does every wolf going to need it!'' He heard Belinda saying when he sat next to Melina.

        ''But granny,every wolf won't need it. It's not even permanent!''Melina exclaimed.''The only thing this potion going to do is help those who are having it hard,''

      ''What new potion?''Sirius asked.

      ''We're making a forgetting potion-''Melina was interrupted.Belinda dropped some hot rocks inside the bowl. The bowl bubbled up at the touch.''It's going to be called MindSet Timer. It's only temporary,but a real wolf who's having it hard will be able to forget everything that happened!''

      ''How long will it last?''Sirius tilt his head in confusion.

      ''For about three months,Sirius.''Belinda answered.''Alright you two let's make you guys useful.''Belinda said to some jars that lies in front of the bowl.

      ''What is in that?''Sirius asked.

        ''You are such a curious boy!''Belinda chuckled.''Nothing important,but three different waters.''

     ''Different waters?''

      ''Yes.Salty,fresh,and muddy.''Belinda said putting all the jars into the bowl.''This is bound to work!''

      Sirius back up from the group as he went to the front of the cave.He went on his way down to the pond to be alone.His mind and thoughts were always set on his life. Maybe he needed this potion.Just to forget for three months.Just maybe...He couldn't get his mind off of Adira.Sure she must be happy now.She was in no pain or suffering,but something around here makes him think she haven't left for the heavens yet.Her scent still lingers around him fresh and anew.He could smell it like when he was a puppy,Fresh Lavender color flowers. He sniffed it once more.However he didn't smell the lavender anymore,but the fresh scent of honey and rosebuds.Melina.

      ''Sirius are you alright?''She sat next to him.He didn't make eye contact with her.He stared down at his reflection then stared at hers.Something felt weird in his heart.

      ''I'm fine Melina.''He answered some time later.Melina stared at the sky.

     ''I know how you feel.You aren't the only one who lost so many friends and families from that disease some months ago,''She paused. ''But you are the only one brave enough to get pass the pain,''

     That's what she thinks,I'm a wreck,Sirius thought.

     ''Sirius look at me,''Melina demanded.''Look at me!''She said more forcefully.He stared into her hazel color eyes.She stared deeply into his green apple-blue eyes.She was trying to search for something in them.All she could see is fear and anger within them and she knew he wasn't this kind of wolf.''I know you are sad,Sirius,but you don't have to act this way.You are always being something you are not.Being joyful when you know you aren't. Just show your true self that's really how you'll be accepted.I accepted you and you accepted me. It doesn't mean nothing when I say you are the best-est friend I ever had and I never had one ever before! I just want you to be happy and I don't know what really happened in your past,but I do know what's happening in your eyes.''Staring in his eyes made her legs wobble.She smile as a tear ran down her cheek.By his surprise he felt her nuzzle her head under his chin.He nuzzled her back.''Just be happy and your suffering should leave you soon.''She stepped back.They stared into each other eyes for sometime then stared at the water in front of them.

''I better go,''Melina said.

''Where?I was enjoying your company.''Sirius smirked.

''I got a date remember?'Melina wanted to groan,but didn't for some odd reason.''I'll catch up with you later,Sirius.I hope you have more fun then I will!''Melina said trotting back up the paths.''I know you will.''She whispered.

    Sirius watched her go.''See you later!''He barked after her and went to go see his old friend,Carro.
