Noor

Noor

A Poem by Taylorgwebb
"

This is a poem describing the author's interaction with divine illumination or enlightenment.

"
Not the arrogant enlightenment of dead white men
Not the illumination of the halo of the holy
Not the blinding fire of a passion for Him
Not a purity so fragile that I'm lonely
My heart is a hearth dimly lit from within
with warm light that will consume me slowly

Powerful in its method of detaching Noor from other spiritual references to light. In a way the warmth of the Noor in its bold simplicity is what gives it it's esoteric nature.

Wow. A wonderful interaction with the divine from the true depth of illumination which Noor came from. Excellent, sir...:)............
