The Tally of Corvian HaleA Story by Taylor JacksonThe story of a cursed talisman.
Forever's lost from a golden bosk, the Tally of Corvian Hale,
but remembered much by travelers all of the quest which he did prevail. A mighty hand and a gentle head, the worrier had both to give, but for all his name the worlds proclaim, a short life did he live. What made his strong, despite his arm, some magic hid in him. And the darken art and a demon heart in the mighty talisman. One does not give his soul of bright, for power shadowing light, But this worlds disdain for armies slain, he dared not lose a fight. With glory held, and quests prevailed, a simple life he wanted, But alone he not, and the demons thoughts, a life forever haunted. Now rests the dark and cursed power, and many seek the tally, as a demon sits, and waits with grit, for an army "he" will then rally. "Those who seek achievement should do so with their own power. For everything borrowed must be returned, and I pray you don't owe interest." © 2021 Taylor JacksonAuthor's Note
