The Rabbit of Summer's CaveA Story by Taylor JacksonYes, a rabbit with superpowers...deal with it :)
Look at the Rabbit of Summer's Cave,
A body small, but a heart so brave. For each long year a prey to few, For a magic inside, that few only knew. For once the rabbit was left a pray, laying deep within the Summer's Cave. As death approached and fear seeped in, A magic man appeared to him. As pity fell, and tears they cried, An idea arose, and a life reprised. For the magic man would grant great power, But in the tiny body, would it wait the hour.. For the predators came, and a prey no more, for the rabbit grew, and its howl like a horn, And the predators ran, and the rabbit scorned. And a feel of power, and a fear now torn. As the rabbit turned, with tearful joy, the cave was empty, and the rabbit employed. And as the sun set now, a life reclaimed, a smile finally crossed, the Rabbit of Summer's Cave © 2020 Taylor JacksonAuthor's Note
