Cry of the Magic FoxA Poem by Taylor JacksonThis magic fox could summon storm with his cry. Will he find peace or cry...the townspeople will decide.
Once there was a magic fox, who's cry could summon storms.
And when he cries some people die, a tragedy some scorn. Now this fox was blessed, and provided tests, to see the good in men. And those who failed, with redemption held, their towns weren't seen again. Now this young black fox, this magic fox, sought happiness and peace. Made his way, through night and day, to a town to settle in ease. When the fox made entry to the town, a town called Hallusbree.. The village stopped, and looked, and sought to rid their town of he. For the town had foxes that they saw had killed their stocks before. Now their eyes were dark, and the fox was the mark, for they saw a grim encore. Then the people came with clubs and clay with intent to kill again. But one loud cry caused the sky to die, and behold a storm began. This storm showed the people here that this fox was not the norm. For the fox's cry and his blood red eye, made belief he was something more. Now the people begged the fox to rid their town of this new plague. And the fox explained, that while he's in pain, his hearts a renegade. Now the only hope of the city folks is to make peace with their new guest. For did not they know, that down deep below, the fox sought one request. This fox made way to the city to stay, but not to hunt their stock.. But to live in peace, with simple ease, but this town had wicked thoughts. Now the fox now spoke with mighty tone, that he was not a killer feared. And the town should be ashamed, since with hate they came, before knowing his business here. He observed the town, and with knowledge he frowned, since the town had blackened hearts. And the fox decided, such evil should be blighted, and his storm tore the town apart. Lesson: We all come from many places, but should never be judged by our appearances.
