Bliss And Kiss Of Ignorance

Bliss And Kiss Of Ignorance

A Poem by TaylorAnn

I repeated that song so many times
Before I know it, it's the only think that rhymes
I pick up habits that get me nowhere
At least when I pick you up you're sure to share
Sharing was the only thing you did for me
Too bad that what you shared was no good for me
Fallen so many times
I forgot how to bleed
Missed calls, sounds of a busy line
While I pass down your street
Got a band aid to heal up this broken heart
It can heal it, but can't keep it from falling apart again
Like you can
If only you'd stick around to do that
Feel like I'm stuck in a trap
Concealing emotions and stopping to rest
And revealing emotions
That are coated with distress
Destination unknown, but that might be for the best
If I can't see you, then you can't see me
That's the kind of life I'm intending to lead
That kind of ignorance will keep me happy
And I'll stay in one piece
This is the perfect situations to do a good deed
I'm due for a break
Soon hearts will be breaking for me
