Ancient TalesA Poem by DavidA Love poemMy love, you
spin, stories of old Weave
ancient tales, so bright ,so defined To be ours
and become, stories yet untold My heart
cracks, it breaks, your verse So , so very
perfect, so sublime This love ,
you and me, so unrehearsed Tales of
warriors and love unfulfilled This barrier
between, you dissolve, eliminate by heart You break me
, piece by piece until I wish my wild mind stilled Ninjas and
velvet flowers, lessons learned Hearts a
flutter and others broken , tales of discontent Of hearts
and souls , some lovers spurned Yet we go on
again for you’re my love , my
storyteller, my dove I listen
intently to your breath, and wonder so About these
tales you tell so intently, with such longing, and such great love Of
butterflies and worms, such creatures, all part of life These tales
, you spin , you impart, make me so curious I wonder why
it is , it took me so long to make you my wife © 2013 DavidAuthor's Note
