When I read the title, 'Harlot's Throne', I expected something rich and lush with strong imagery as the title is so powerful. I do like the bitter-sweet nature of the poem, this comes across well. However, this poem cries out for some clever imagery and subtle messages rather than being so overt and cliche with what you say. As I've said on other poems, this may be my style of writing, but anyone can collate dialogue like this, add enjambment and create a poem. What makes a poet in my mind is thinking of fresh new ways to represent your feelings. I feel I'm being harsh, but I'm being honest!

"I'll be waiting for you
to drag you back down
from you harlot's throne
to the gates of hell's mouth"
This poem is so scary and it reminds me of those thriller movies o.o
"The Uninvited" you gotta watch that!
Nice use of imagery!
Great work!
Is it recovering from a dooms day? A very feature-full poem with good images. Well structured and words well crafted.I enjoyed reading. Most poerful line, I can say, " I rise from my grave"
A solid piece-I like the imagery, especially in the lines: "you took my soul, you locked it away, six feet down, but now, I rise from my grave". I love the rhyme scheme-though the first three lines seem to be a bit out of place (but maybe that's just me)-that's me being picky though. A good write :)
I think that this was a great use of words and vividness. You certainly have a way with words. I really liked the story it portrayed, that of having been through hell with a loved one, and finally being set free of all that. I love it!
