Legend

Legend

A Poem by Taylor Williams
"

Kinda based off of Hunter S. Thompson's Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.

"
We are the prototypes
too strange to live, too rare to die
we stare fear and death
right into their, f*****g eyes
There is a road
that will take you to this place
in no man's country
the bats here own everything
for when you've gone too far
across the brink
insanity begins
to quickly sink
deeper and deeper, running through your veins
then forget the meaning of, everything
a one way trip, to fear and loathing
We are the prototypes
too strange to live, too rare to die
we stare fear and death
right into their, f*****g eyes
I see the monsters in the room
and the floor
filling with blood like a f*****g pool
but i cant feel my face
or any substance hit my throat
throwing my self into drinks
like a traitor into the moat
not done yet no
lets put the green in our heads
consuming absinthe and weed
till we're far past dead
We are the prototypes
as in legends, the archetypes
of everything it is
to be a young and reckless, metal kid
yeah we are the prototypes
and just like legends
WE WILL NEVER DIE
