Into The ValleyA Poem by Taylor WilliamsI lay in the field where i now slowly die surrounded by ashes and my brothers cries a bullet to the head would surely end it all a quick stop for this never f*****g ending fall there is no more light, no there is only pain and around me blood falls like a torrential rain i look into the sky as my vision fades black i feel deaths arms around me, there is no going back
as i descend, into the valley of long, forgotten souls i feel his shadow, swallow up my own he said son, listen to me there is nothing, left to fear for everything you know and love ill end it all right here
tic, toc, time crawls to a stop and suddenly i feel my heart now drop so many things that i have left undone the memories burning like the fire of an unsetting sun and the embers of the loved ones, whose bridges ive burned scar me so deep, that i wished i had learned about life, before i had lied and about death, before i had died
as i descend, into the valley of long, forgotten souls i feel his shadow, swallow up my own he said son, listen to me there is nothing, left to fear for everything you know and love ill end it all right here
