Vegas Hits Home

A Poem by Taylor Williams

i went somewhere, down a long and broken road

my love was, never supposed to know

and amidst the lies and the, alibis

i lost the line between black and white

i played my hand

for far too long

i knocked on the devils door(once moor)

but this time he was home

so now i know

what to expect

when you live in lies

i wont forget

i lost it all, to a foul and wretched w***e

i cant even, recognize, myself, anymore

my head is spinning, what the f**k, have i done

but i wouldnt trade it, for any-f*****g-one

even though this time, vegas hit home

i played my hand

for far too long

i knocked on the devils door(once more)

but this time he was home

so now i know

what to expect

when you live in lies

i wont forget

i wont forget

ill never forget

that night i

DIED

i lost it all

yet ive never, felt closer, to my home

that night i died

i lost it all

 so this is how

a place like vegas, became my home

i went somewhere, down a long and broken road

my love was, never supposed to know

i went somewhere, down a long, and broken road

so this is how(yeah this is how)

a place like vegas, became my home
