Cleansing in Chaos

Cleansing in Chaos

A Poem by Taylor Williams

can you hear the

voices within

well i hear them

comtemplating my, very end

squinting my eyes

i try, to push them out at night

but i feel the ghost

of the blade

cutting my wrists like a knife

theyre screaming

theyre knowing

theyre laughing

theyre showing

me

theyre showing me the roads

the misdirections and mistakes

on the chariot now my hearse

yeah now dragging me

face first, in

the grit and dirt

you say

please pray taylor

pleas turn to god

but i turned so long ago

and saw no one(no one)

now the ghosts

that turned to scars

re open as i

drag the blade, and cleanse my heart

voices in my head screaming

end it all(end it all)

voices in the world screaming

turn to god(please turn to god)

my chariot awaits

to drag me to hell

with my face

in the dirt

i grab the blade with my

hand, and make it glide

to escape my

escape my mind
