Drown in Peace

Drown in Peace

A Poem by Taylor Williams

Oh just let me drown in peace
I've given into this serenity
Yeah just let me drown in peace
Suspended in comforts of the sea

Oh oh ohhh
I've found my place
With in the ebb and flow
The soothingness of the tides
Give me peace
And rests my mind
Suspended in embrace
Of the ocean and its waves
The current slowly drags away
Every burden in my heart
As I fade away

So let me drown in peace
I've given into this serenity
Yeah just let me drown in peace
Suspended in comfort of the sea

May my soul finally rest
In the soft pale blue
Sinking to the depths
Falling away from you
And burdens of regret
For all I did to you
Like an anchor and chain
Bringing me asunder
To the resting place
Where my heart may retire

So let me drown in peace
I've given into this serenity
Yeah just let me drown in peace
Suspended in comfort of the sea
Please oh please
Just let me drown in peace
