Falling Away

Falling Away

A Poem by Taylor Williams

And maybe now I see right through
These instances we bring ourselves up to
I'm drawing blanks about my life
No longer know what's wrong or right
There's no more writing on the walls
Just one more step until we fall
Until we fall

Until we fall into abyss
And lose the simple feeling bliss
I think some signs we may have missed
Took some wrong turns when we kissed
Well I lost the road along the way
Found no light for a brighter day
Got lost searching each others hearts
For that need of each others arms
We told ourselves, we told ourselves keep strong
Now we know, now we know how wrong
It was to keep holding on

I'm drawing blanks about my life
No longer know what's wrong or right
There's no more writing on the walls
Just one more step until we fall
Until we fall away
And can't find our way
Back to days
When all seemed okay
Fall away
And can't find our way
Back to days
When all seemed okay

We're drawing blanks about our lives
And I think it's time we said goodbye
If we just head our separate ways
And live the fullest of our days
I'm sure our hearts will find their way
To each others beat and a brighter day
