Truths and Lies of the Human Race

Truths and Lies of the Human Race

A Poem by Kiara

If you stand in a road,

You’ll probably get hit.

If you stand up for yourself,

You may also get hit,

But probably not as bad.

I can’t stand the world.

Rumors create everything

And people can’t defend themselves

Because they’re afraid of getting hit.

They’re afraid of what people think.

Not me...I really don't care what people think of me. I stand up for what I believe and more people should do that.
