The Sky and I

The Sky and I

A Poem by Kiara

Sometimes
Standing in the rain
I think they really are
My tears
Falling down.

What if the rain was red?
It would be the same
But they wouldn't be
Teardrops.
They would be
Blood drops.

If the sky is really crying,
Then why?
Who is it crying for?
And why does the sky never bleed?
Is it just too strong
Or does it just hide everything
Like me?

That was gorgeous!! Psst where ends the sky, waving rainbows by, and delivering us a most awesome spectacle of our own interpretation of the sky falling.... lay two people that I know of "you and I", just wondering the world about and above them!! What a familiar and intriguing look into that mind of yours that brings back days of bringing my telescope to the park in grade school at like 3 in the morning without my mom knowing, just so I could find "proof" that something existed past the clouds, Taylor!! : ) So beautiful. : ) xo I had a sort of "pissed" feeling that I am not allowed or able to have the option of leaving this tiny little blueberry Earth and travel amongst the boundaries of the planets, and inhaling stars!! I really like this poem of yours.... I need a hug. lol Are you free? xoxo -Mark

Can really relate - hiding emotions is a reflex to me, and I have to consciously work at letting others know how I feel. Pathetic fallacy is one of my favourites as well, so between the two I love the poem :)
