When the world comes falling down

Awesome poem!! Something I used to say when I was younger: I am no worthier than the skin I am unfit to live in. ....and with that, there was one girl who understood my fascination with fire, and she didn't see what others saw. She wanted to be enveloped inside a fire with me, flesh to flesh in the tightest hug until the fire consumed us. I don't understand, totally, her connection to me and this mind of mine, but she has a family now, and still recalls those moments as the most personal in her life. She mentioned last year, around Sumner, that she has never let that go, and would assume that role for me if I chose to leave in such a way. It breaks my heart that I don't understand her specific Love for me like that. She's accomplished, beautiful, with a family, a life-long friend, and mine she says..... and I don't know how to honor that where it can protect HER in the end. : ) Beautiful poem, Taylor!! xoxo -Mark
