Do you know that pain

That only comes from hurting someone?

 

Do you know the pain

That only comes from them doing the right thing

And finally leaving your sorry a*s behind?

 

Do you recognize yourself pushing someone away

Or doing something wrong

But not being able to stop?

 

Do you try to be happy

But even when you are,

You have that deep undertone of sadness?

 

Do you hate yourself and everything about you?

 

Are you lost in the dark

With no light to guide the way?

 

Do you ever feel like there's nowhere you belong?

That nobody cares?

That you'll never be good enough?

That you'll never know anything but the dark?

 

 

Am I the only one?
