Too Scared to Let You Know

Too Scared to Let You Know

A Poem by Kiara

Baby, please don't cry.

Let me wipe those tears from your eyes.

Let me hold you one more time

And let me tell you it will be all right.

You don't see the beauty I do.

Just let me stay here to comfort you.

Don't you see how much I care?

Look into my eyes and tell me what's there.

I need you to stay with me.

I love you more than a fish loves the sea.

I can't tell you those three words,

And I can see how much that hurts,

But it scares me too much to tell you.

Very emotional and a popular topic. I would be careful with rhyming some of the lines. There doesn't seem to be a scheme at the beginning and then you add lines that rhyme in the middle. Be careful with that because you gain consistency problems.

Good job though!

I wish guys were to say such caring things like this. This poem gets me thinking of what I lost, what I had loved the most, to just treat me as if I were a toy. I will forever cherish this poem.
