Silent Torture

Silent Torture

A Poem by Kiara

My crying is silent.
No one will notice.

My cries out for help are silent.

No one will notice.

If I pull the trigger, all will be silent.

No one will notice.

If I cut I'll feel okay

And they will notice.

They will take it away from me.
They will take away everything

And leave me with my pain.

They'll leave me here unnoticed.

They'll leave me with no gun.

I'll have to find my own

So I can go on,

Silent,

Unnoticed.
Soon there will be nothing left.

All will be loud,

Then all will be silent,

And still,

No one will notice.
