Hold It In

Hold It In

A Poem by Kiara

I'm too ashamed to cry these tears.

They blur in my eyes and I blink them away.

I look down upon myself,

A pitiful human being,

Daring to feel sorry for herself.

If you're going to be upset,

Hold it in.

No one wants to hear about it.

Hold it in.

Let it build up

Until you can finally do something about it.

Until you can finally do what you've been wanting to do,

For your whole miserable life.
