Reasoning

Reasoning

A Poem by Kiara

Yes.
I quit.
I gave up.
All of my friends find me low,
Make fun of me at every turn.
I quit show choir.
That's it.
I didn't kill someone.
They don't see it actually hurts me.
I gave a reasonable excuse.
I don't have time.
Really, there are so many others.
One is the same reason I wear pants and long sleeves
Whenever I find that possible.
Too many people notice my skin,
Too many flaws call for attention.
"How did you get those scars?"
"...My cat."
It's a terrible lie.
There are too many to be from a kitten.
They are on such a display that
You have to know
I did that.
I put them there.
I gave in.
Yes.
I gave in.

... I'm so sorry hun, When I was talking to you about it I hope you didn't think I was putting you down, I thought that might have been the reason and I'm sorry you feel this way. I hope this wasn't direct towards me because I didn't mean to put you down in anyway, I was just wondering what was on your mind. Much love TayTay, and I hope whenever you can you keep your head up, because you are my best friend and I don't want you to feel like this anymore. I hope you smile, because I loves you dollface (:

Some things are self-fulfilling... and some fears you never seem to shake. Comes a time when you need to risk the hurts to find some really are friends.
