The World Is How You Make It

The World Is How You Make It

A Poem by Kiara
"

Literally wrote this in like two minutes. The prompt is: if the world was your classroom, what would you teach a girl?

"

The world is at your fingertips,

Do not let it slip through.

Life cannot be taken lightly,

Death can be taken less lightly.

Do not let it overcome you.

Let the sun wash away all pain you’ll face.

Stand tall against the thunderous wind.

Fight for the world you have,

But do not lose yourself when you lose.

Every battle can be a war,

Every tear a fountain.

Every country can be a person,

Every mountain a rock.

Do not slip too far into the dark.

Look at the bright side,

For that is all you have.
