Midnight Tango

Midnight Tango

A Poem by Tayler
"

A poem about love, dancing, and passion all under a sea of stars

"

There is no music, and yet we dance,
Together and alone,
Two as one,
Merged into single movement

Together we flow,
Under a sea of stars,
His hands, one on my back,
And one on my thigh

There is a fire,
It’s between he and I,
Lasting and bright
As we dance the night away

Fluent are our moves,
Graceful is our dance,
Sweat, and heat, and passion
All in the way we move

From behind he buries his face,
In the warmth of my shoulder,
My hand slides up into the air,
As deeper we slide into the pose.

There in the night,
In that desolate field,
We’ve created art,
In the midst of nothing

Blinded by moonlight,
Watched by stars,
We move in our very own
Midnight tango.

A beautiful writing of the impulsive and unrehearsed dance of love. How delightful this work of a dance of seduction under the stars. So visually discriptive that it is like watching two dark silhouettes dancing in the middle of a field lit only by the stars and moonlight. The only music is private tune to which their bodies move. A creative and sensual writing from a very talented pen. Love this!

the tango is one of the most romantic and intricate dances out there, and this poem brought that out w/ a sense of romance and total satisfaction. i really loved this :]
