Life as I Know It

Life as I Know It

A Poem by Tayler
"

A poem about feelings of doubt and how they cloud the mind. Again nothing too difficult. Just something to pour my current feelings out.

"

Life as I know it,
Has fallen to the ground,
Broken into a million pieces.
Life as I knew it,

I walk unknowing,
The shards tear my feet,
Severing more then just flesh,
Life as it appears.

Feelings of doubt cloud my mind,
Decisions are hard with,
Questions unanswered
My life as I know it.

My brave knight,
He’s so sweet, so kind,
But lack of feelings,
Cast him away from me.

Life before my eyes,

I’m stuck with ignorance,
Stuck with hestitation,
That shadows my steps,
So it’s hard to decide.

Life as I see it.

Why is it so hard?
Why do I not feel,
For him who feels for me?
Why do I question?

Maybe, just maybe,
That’s how it’s suppose to be.
Maybe, oh just maybe,
That's life.

Well done. I feel your anxiety with your relationship. Questioning, questioning and questioning. My only advice, whatever you do...do not compromise yourself for the sake of a relationship. I've done that many many times in my life only to be miserable with constant worry. But, only you know in your heart if you are questioning too much or your hesitation is legit. My prayers are with you. And, keep writing!!! Sometimes we find answers within ourselves after putting it on paper.
