My Tears

My Tears

A Poem by Tayler
"

Is there any better description then reading the poem?

"

My heart stops

Pain knots in my chest

My breath is frozen

And tears begin to pool

My hands shake

Feelings flare,

Harsh and uncontrolable

As tears begin to fall

Flowing over my cheeks

they fall across my quaking lips

cold yet hot

they fall to the ground

Diamonds through the darkness,

cutting through the pain,

reminding me that I'm not dead

that I'm still there

My hands tighten,

the shaking stops,

I'm gaining control

but my heart won't start

It's because you left me

because you're gone,

because I'm crying

these things for you

They cut through the emptiness

A reminder of life

a bringer of hope

though painful they are.

Slowly,

so slowly,

my breath returns,

warm and beautiful.

Calmly,

so calmly,

my heart restarts,

beating and pure.

Through all of these things,

the tears still fall,

but now I'm smiling,

because I now know

That tears are there

so we can unload

the feelings and pain

through the tears that fall

Legit, my eyes welled up.
I guess I must've remembered something.
This is absolutely beautiful.
