I Thought I Saw It

This is a poem about my closest catch

I Thought I Saw It

We started as enemies, our groups far apart

But then they were joined. 

Who knew it would start?

A spark that grew, into a flame

that eventually got dowsed by a trough of rain

It began slowly, that spark of ours

We kept denying it denying it was ours

but slowly we appreciated the warmth that it gave

we even held on when you went away

Two years had gone, we talked all the time

but time had changed us, it had changed our minds.

We pushed at the flames feeling the warmth

but another girl came. 

She did a dance, with a twirl 

and laughed as the fire was doused.

I thought i saw it, that flame of ours

in your eyes as they were cast down

no more sparks, no more flames.
I thought is saw it, hidden in the rain.

This defininitly came from the heart omg tears. I do miss the warmth.
