From Spring Days To WinterA Poem by tay payneThis poem is about a woman that a character have seen in his dream but the whole theme is about losing that one he loved. Dedicated to Oscar Wilde.
In the happy springtime when the leaves are green.
Happily, I hear her voice sings. I walk everyday and see the butterfly flaps his wings. Between the blossoms of flowers that are yellow and white. And happily I hear her voice sings. Where my love first came at first sight. A perfect vision of delight. And I see the bird flap his wings. Then the apples glowed like fire. And I hear her voice sings Her love is too good for her red lips. A personality that a man can admire. She is a blown rose of love and of desire. And the bird flaps its wings. And now a cold soul have came to make the tree gray. And sadly her voice sings. My love is dead. Let me pray for a new day. Now she is asleep silently where I lay. Like a songbird with broken wings. The love, and my love which was slain. A fond songbird..... A fond songbird that will never be able to relieve my pain. © 2014 tay payne |
