The day

One of my best friend is graduating next month and I wanted to write him a poem as he goes off to college. So here it is.

Each day passed

And it all seemed so slow

But as you look back on it all

It went by pretty fast

And now each step you take

You remember all four years

You remember all those great memories

And maybe even shed a few tears

And once you are off that stage

You wont be the same

It's a new chapter in you're life

And that's the first page

But don't forget us all still here

Waiting for our day to come

Where we can be like you

Waiting to find out what we will become

So congratulations on your big day

We are all so proud

Its time to celebrate

And get on your way
