Always

It's a stinging pain that never leaves

It's a memory that never fades

You always wonder,

Will it happen again? 

Is it still?

You just don't know.

You're scared but don't know what to say.

You don't want to admit that after all this time

The pain and fear is still there.

You want to forget

To pretend it didn't happen.

But you can't.

You will always remember.

It did happen. 

And you will always be afraid.

But even with all that pain and fear.

You still have love.

And trust.

And forgiveness.

And that's how you know

In the end

Everything will be alright

Because you love him

And you always will.

[Coyote Poetry]

A beautiful and sad poem. Love is part of us. Even the bad separation leave us wishing for better endings. A very good ending to the excellent poem.
