Justice Must Be Taken

Justice Must Be Taken

A Poem by Michelle Grayson
"

A poem about Honesty

"
It is often dark inside the mind
Knowing you've made a mistake
You feel your heart constrict
And your mind ready to restrict
The very flow of any thought.

Then the gray comes next
You're thinking about it all
It's so complex that it only
Perplexes the mind further
Till in the end you see light.

That light is in the truth
A confession of an oops
Bowing down on knees
And lowering the head
Accepting the justice due.

You need to take it
Even if it is so painful!
That is being human
That is being honest
That is being good.

So true! You make a very good point in this poem. As cliche as this sounds, honesty really is the best policy. Great poem! :)
