Feeling of flight

Feeling of flight

A Poem by Tavar
"

Friend said I always write depressing topics... Ha... So i wrote this for them.

"

You look me in the eyes and I simply wish to fly.

I walk to the Cliff-side and I know I won't die.

I take a breath and leap off  its side.

I soar through the air and through the clouds glide.

Picking up speed, my wings feel so light.

I open my eyes and you’re in my sight.

A pain in my side, you’ve stabbed me with a knife.

My body grows light, I'm losing my life.

You whisper me gently, "I'll be there shortly"
I close my eyes, and now I drift so swiftly.

I’m on the Cliff-side, now you’re by my side.

You are glowing so greatly, you're smiles so wide.

You take my hand in your hand, you grip it tight.

Together we jump free, together we take Flight.
