Stars

Friend and I were writing a poem about stars. We each did a quick couple drafts and decide to show each other. I based mine on the fact of being lost in the woods, with the stars guiding you back home

When I’m walking in the dark

I can’t help but stray

We’re so far apart

Yet you show me the way

It makes no sense at all

How you can be there for me

Up in the sky

While I’m lost in the trees.
