In the Corners

In the Corners

A Poem by Taunt-gently

Corners always seem shady
rounding off sharp edges where shadows get caught.
Cornered seems vulnerable
as if this hiding place needs a front a top, more edge
something to dampen the light
before it reflects snowflakes glinting blinking melting
not near cold enough anymore, lighting up all the edges

leaving no place to hide, unless I turn away.
