Nightmare Trauma

exploring ones mind all together

I wake from a nightmare,

Not just screaming but the whole

nightmare had petrified me.

It felt so real,

like it had actually happened.

I didn't want to go back to sleep,

What if it just wasn't a nightmare

and it actually happened?

What if it actually happened and

I just didn't come to terms with it?

To explore ones mind,

is more difficult than one 

would know.
