Song of a RiverA Poem by Tate VivianoI wrote this while hopping frieght trains threw Utah. We where in Ogden sitting next to this creek that was digustingly poluted. It saddened me. So I cried out this poem.River river sing to me all the things that used to be when you gave life to all around now you are polluted tinted brown. No longer do fish swim or beavers build for the greed of man has had you filled to the brim with waste and trash to fill their pockets full with cash. If this continues one day we will know and end of all rivers that flow. © 2017 Tate Viviano |
