Eventually

Eventually

A Poem by TastyKittens

Eventually, we all meet our demise.
No one can avoid the hands of fate.
There will be no compromise.

Your life is yours to chastise.
Still, you have your date.
Eventually, we all meet our demise.

We all hope to say our goodbyes.
You may beg your maker to wait,
There will be no compromise.

When death comes, you will realize,
You have no room to debate.
Eventually, we all meet our demise.

Even if it comes by surprise,
You cannot clean your slate.
There will be no compromise.

The end is but a bitter moonrise,
You will simply add to the death rate.
Eventually, we all meet our demise.
There will be no compromise.
