The Truth of Love

The Truth of Love

A Poem by TastyKittens
"

A poem that I came up with a few months ago. I AM NOT EMO, I JUST CAME UP WITH THIS OUT OF BOREDOM

"

Love only causes pain,
There is never anything to gain.

It only gives you regret,
When others get what they want and yet.

You are left to sulk in sorrow,
For there will be no light tomorrow.

Embrace the darkness of the night,
When you are left with no light.

It will be your only strength,
If you are to survive the length,

Of the battle within you,
Eventually you will rise anew.

Never again will you fly like a dove,
In the sunlight of love.

Only darkness will control your life,
You will feed off suffering and strife.

When darkness conquers all,
No longer will you fall.

Never again to love at all.

Good poem, but I dunno if it's totally accurate.
