What I See In The Dark

What I See In The Dark

A Poem by Tazz S.H.
"

String of sad thoughts

"
What should I do, cry, eat, or sleep?
I should've given you a hug.
I should have hugged you longer.
Why won't you look at me?
Closed doors, darkness and floating breaths.
Solid, stationary, mobile, robotic, mechanic.
My heart is swelling.
Again.
Here we are, again.

Tazz,
Very interesting imagery (floating breaths- stationary- robotic). The mixture of what is very warm, very human with images of what might be unattainable (hard -cold- metal). It reminds me of some unrequited love. (closed doors and darkness).
This is a very successful poem.

Thank you :] And yes, it does contain some aspects of unrequited love.

Regrets whisper in our ear what we should have done. Communication is important but not always easy to grasp.
